Common questions

My library isn't syncing to my other device

Sync rides on the Apple Account already signed in on the device — there's no separate account to create. Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and have iCloud Drive turned on. The Library screen tells you which state you're in: it reads "Kept in step with your other devices over iCloud" when sync is on, and "Sign in to iCloud on this device to sync" when it isn't.

A bottle I own isn't in the catalog

The built-in catalog covers more than 1,400 bottles, but it can never keep up with every limited release. Add anything missing as a custom bottle — you can set its shelf, size, strength and price by hand, and mark it as a limited release.

A recipe says I'm missing something I have

Specific calls like Campari or Green Chartreuse have to be matched by name and won't silently substitute. Generic calls like Bourbon will take anything off the right shelf. If a bottle is on the wrong shelf, edit it and the match will resolve.

Will my data survive deleting the app?

If you're signed in to iCloud, yes — reinstall and it comes back down. On a device without iCloud the library is local only, and deleting the app deletes it.
